My name's Emma Harris and I was born and raised in Cumbria. I graduated from University of Cumbria back in 2012 with a BSc (Hons) in Sport & Exercise Therapy and have added to that with my Acupuncture for Sports Therapists & a Post Graduate Certificate in Strength & Conditioning. I have been concentrating on my own clinic in Cockermouth since 2018

I only work part-time in my own business now as I also work for SH1FT, a global company offering several formats for group fitness instructors to train up in and deliver to their classes. I also deliver some of these classes myself as well as a couple of Fitness Pilates I teach a week at at a local leisure centre. As an Assessor and IQA for a range of companies, I have also helped to train up the next generation of Fitness Instructors & Personal Trainers and I love to see how many of them are still in the industry.

It's not all work! Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my horses, I have evented up to BE100 and competed in Endurance up to 80km and have been lucky enough to represent my country, but nowadays we do a mix of things at lower levels as my older boy reduces his workload a little and I bring on my young horse. I also love being so close to the Lake District and taking my dog to the lake or up a fell.
